Of all the vendors I've been dealing with (our host,LMC,American Classic,Jim Carter, etc.)nobody has rear brake shoes- Huck type, for a '52 3/4 ton Chev, except JC & he wants $159.00 for them, which is way too much, especially since I was able to get the front ones from NAPA for $25. So my question is, can anyone tell me where I can source these at a reasonable price? TIA.

Your same NAPA store can have your re lined cheaply .

Or , look in the yellow pages under brake reliners or brake jobbers .

yep that is the case! I took Zig's ;) Thanks Paul, so he did all the front work for me. But Nobody makes them new anymore, so they must be relined.

Yeah, relining looks like the route I'm gonna have to take. Hey Wolf, did you have to replace those bolts that hold the e-brake arm to back of one shoe on each side? They are a cammed shoulder bolt with a thin 13/16" head, the threads on mine got damaged. If so where did you find them ? Anybody else know where to get these?

No I didn't have to replace them. Zig was so kind to give me the entire assembly! Backing plate and everything. Sorry I can't help ya with those. Does Jim Carters or LMC or our host have them? Not sure exactly what they are...
