Hey guys...I have a 1961 shortstepside. I am in need of another cab for it. If push comes to shove, I can settle for a 64-66 cab, but I really want a cab that will take that rap-around windshield. I am in NC, and would like to keep it close by, but can travel some or hopefully pay shipping. ANY POSSIBILITIES ANYWHERE...PLEASE! thanks.

    Hi 61,
I've seen cabs on Ebay from time to time, also check your local newspaper, and boneyards.

hey, theokie64, where you at? Ever been to American Salvage in Sperry, OK? The place is over run with 60-66 trucks. The only problem is, they are real proud of them.

    whoops!!!!
well i have heard of sperry ok, but i never heard of that salvage yard
it amazes me how much these trucks have grown in value. the only shopping i have done is seeing them in the papaers and the local
neighbors and farmers fields. i live in guthrie ok, and i am glad i started collecting them in the late 80s.

    Help!
My 63 looks like it might be beyond repair. Its rusted through along the roofline, and on the drivers floor.
    You still have your cab?

Are the 61's the same as the 63's ?

1960-63 cabs are the same. The only thing that might be different is where the cab mounts on the frame.

I DO STILL HAVE THE CAB! yes they are the same don't know about the cab mounts, i've never heard that. it has some rust in the roof area, it is repairable. the floor and cab supports are impressive, no rust. it needs to go make an offer and haul it off. i live in new mexico, are we close? let me know if you are interested. thanks.

I might be interested in the cab you have. I have a similar problem with a '63 rusted cab. Where are you located? and how much would you want for it. If you have pics that would be great. Thanks!!:7

Hey would anyone know who might need a '63 230 Inline engine. I am replacing it with a V-8. Motor is complete and does run. I am sure it needs to be gone thru. Do not have room in garage for it. Let me know.
