So, I've given up searching for a shifter collar for my '66 C-10
3-speed, so my next trick in controling the 'grinding into first gear' was to find shifter grommets (at upper steering column and down at transmission) - no luck.
I've called ever Chevy dealer in Hemmings, everyone on the Internet, and all my local Chevy parts dealers. Gosh, I wish I just needed a fender or door panel. Any leads?
    Thanks,

Sorry, but I don't know where you could find a set of shift bushings for that truck. You might have to have a machine or tool and die shop turn you some on a lathe. You could make them out of teflon.
