Has anyone tried Chevs of the 40's polarity reverser? Looks like it can carry a lot of current and make modern electronics an option for GMC's, Fords, and some of the Brits positive "earth" oldies while keeping the factory charging system (doesn't apply to Lucas).
Evan: How much voltage is available? How much voltage and current is required after "reversal"? Can the device being powered by the "reversed" power be electrically isolated from frame ground of the vehicle? I think a "yes" answer to this question is important no matter what solution you use.
