www.autocolorlibrary.com They will email you a color chart with the codes to look at. Just get on there and give them your year and make and they will hook you up.

Paint code is located on the Vehicle Identification Plate. This plate
is on the inside of the vehicle at the lower left. If you were sitting
in the vehicle, it would be down by your left leg. It has a line for
the paint code there. If that plate is missing? I don't know. You
may be able to decode something from the numbers on the frame rails.
Not sure about that though. If you are looking to do a full restora-
tion and the plate is missing, I would look at the surfaces of the
cab and bed as you take the vehicle apart. I doubt all of those
surfaces were touched if the vehicle has been repainted. If you have
this plate and the code is legible, post. I can tell you what color
the code calls for. Good luck.

    RE: Where To Look ?

Thanks for the PaintChip Web address. I have been trying to find out which year Chevy offered the light yellow paint color for the c10 series 1961-1966, and have bought several books. I'm trying to locate a shortbed version to restore as I learned to drive in one like it. It was a 1965!

    Thanks again
