The hauler called and asked me how to start my old truck to get it off the trailer. I walked him through it and said to take his time with the old boy. I then sent a follow up email to the new owner and thanked him for a smooth transaction and said I hope he got it unloaded OK. Here are the pics he sent. The first one is the 3800 off the ramp. He said he had to grind and polish a wheel and replace the rear bumper by the time he got it off the ramp. Took 3 hours with a tow truck. The other pic is the 3800 on the way to Canada. He sold it the first day he had it. The truck spent its entire life within 20 miles of Kingsport. Now it gets to leave the country before I do.
Ouch! That first picture hurts to look at! (I think I'd be on the phone, too!) Even I could back up better than that!
