Hey gang, My truck came without a seat riser. Has anyone ever fabricated one? Anyone know of a parts house that makes them? I am guessing that I could probably make it work with a couple of pieces of steel for the front seat mounts and probably a piece of flat plate across the cab between the tank and the seat brackets. Any thoughts?? Thanks
eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1947-1948-1949-1950-1951-1952-53-Chevy-Truck-Seat-Frame-/130572602770?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e66bbcd92 They are often seen here. Also Dead Zone Truckin' on this site I'm sure will have a take off original if that is the route you're going.
We have seen alot of trucks that have had the seat riser removed from the floor of the cab to make way for newer bench seats . Just to be clear.... you need the riser that is welded to the floor of the cab { that the seat frame mounts too} .... not the seat frame itself ? We do have the seat frame & the floor riser & slider adjuster brackets.
Yes I need the riser that the sliders and frame attach to. Can you direct me how to order, price and shipping on such a large piece? Thank you very much!
