    I am wanting to convert my 350 from the old V-belts to the Serpentine belt setup. I have seen this done recently on a 63 impala, and it looked really good. The guy told me that you could just go to any GM dealership, and get a "kit"...??? Said it is for the new chevys. Includes 2 brackets, one for a/c with the belt tensioner on it, and the other that houses the power steering and alternator, all the pulleys, and a reverse flow water pump. Anyone know of this "kit" and what it is called, or one like it from somewhere else? Thanks

    I don't know exactly what the kit is called but I know you can find it in the GM Performance cataloge.

    I know of two aftermarket conversion kits;
    March Performance & Vintage Air

    The kit from GM includes a reverse flow water pump. If the aftermarlet guys don't include one you will need to purchase.

    Wow ! I guess it has !! It popped on my radar screen today since Drabo answered. Didn't look at the date of your original note.
