Have a '62 Chevy and need to know how to be sure if it is 1/2 or 3/4 ton. It is a long wheel base with 6-lug wheels, drums all-around, coil springs and hydraulic clutch. THANKS!!

Just to let you know, I have two 3/4 ton pickups. They both have 8 lug wheels on them. another way to tell is to look at the panel by your left laeg when siting in the truck. There will be a small metal plate that will list the gross vehicle weight too.
