:confused:I just realized today after browsing all the cool pics on this site, that I have these unusual pieces attached to my frame. I should have known they didn't belong, cuz the welding job is pathetic. I figured if this was factory done, then this may be the first Chevy built in China. Does anybody understand why they are there? I also thought that maybe somebody tried to beef up the suspension by installing an extra spring there?

Definitely Not Factory, I Had a 56 Long Bed With a Flat Bed Put On The Back
It had a Dump Bed On it as They Used It For a Land scape Truck and Had Pads
In the Same Location As Yours Pictured for The Dump Bed To Rest On

    Thanks Allen,
All I know about this truck, is that it was a service/install truck for an A/C company, and the only reason I know is because the words "Air Conditioning" were barely visible in paint on the tailgate.
