tank strap removal

Any tips on removing the gastank straps, want to do as little damage as possible to the cab floor.

 

Permanently? Cut the straps off at the loops on the floor.

 

I used a 3" abrasive cut off wheel on a die grinder to "surgically" remove the front part of the mounts . Angle cut them like this:

 

Thanks, I don't want the tank in the cab, feel safer with it on the frame under the bed.
