I just pick up my first project truck that i'm going to try to do.
I worked on a lot of car and trucks but first time to restore.
The truck is a 1954 3800 that is pretty much stock expect the rear end and the seat cover.
Right now the truck run good i just rewired all the electrical and looking for part so i can get it back on the road and have some fun with it.
here is some pictures of it

    Welcome!

Love that cow catcher on the front! Looks like it worked too, at least once, - so you could cover your seat. Love it! Welcome and best to you!

    Great find!

Looks like a great body, to start with~ You have the best spot ever to get the kinks worked out. CP is a great source to get you on the road.
    Welcome, and I'm sorry it's not a GMC you're driving! :D:D

Thank for the support. I have been working on it all weekend just working out all the little bugs so i can get ready to strat driving it. It's amazing how simple the truck is but how well built it is. Evereone that has seen the truck like the seat in it and can't wait for me to get it done.

Hey Graham, what part of Houston do you live in? I'd love to see that seat cover in person!

I'll follow Ken and bring my tow strap to drag that '34 home and bail money to get him out of the hoosegow after the federales stop him for a loud exhaust.
