    Is everyone ready ? .

I assume all are out driving their old trucks buying Christmas Trees , Honica Bushes , presents egg nog and so on as the list seems kinda quiet....

My rebuilt & hopefully good Rochester Monojet Series MV Carby is in transit now from.... St. Louis IIRC and might arrive Friday afternoon .

To - morrow I'll hit my favorite scrap yard and get the correct rear shock mounting hardware , one of my new Bilstein HD's came loose .

    Holidays are

    a wonderful thing:D
We finally closed our workshop today; after cleaning up the whole place for three endless days, fixing stuff and moving machinery around...

We´ve been working our butts off the last few weeks and now are all really happy, to get a break and get back some energy.

Also good, to work on the truck during daytime, not after work, is also something, i´m looking forward to.

This way i also want to wish all of you a happy x-mas with family and friends, and hope you get some time off, to relax or spend some time in the garage;)

Merry Christmas everybody and a Happy New Year!
Well Nate I made it home with the Christmas tree but that wasn't the last trip...
My last was on the back of a roll-back. Got to be something simple but havn't looked at it yet.
Not much fun and $40. broker:mad:
Around here the weather is getting bad so now is a time to start on the didn't finish list and the new repair list before I come out next year.
    Everybody have a great year!

White and cold Christmas in Norway.

A cople of dear are running around in my garden eating some old apples that they dig up from beneeth the snow. We use to feed them with some of the leftovers and fresh hay every winter as foodshortage is there for them when snow makes it difficult to find food in nature.

Wish everybody a nice Christmas and a happy newyear 2012. I am looking foreward to get some things done with the truck the next spring as much of my time this winter goes to get work done in the forrest logging timber , so the truck has to wait. I have been waiting for some new parts to come from the US to reasamble my 4 speed Saginaw this winter to bring it back in good working condition.
Looking foreward to watch a blues documentary about the life of the famous Mississippy blueslegend Robert Johnson. Man this guy could play the blues , they say he sold his soul to the devil at the crossroad and got poisonned by a guy whom hated him that much because he got himself involved with the daughter . It gave him an instant but very painfull dead people say ?

Dedicate this great X-mas blues with Canned Heat and dr. John to all you people.

    Greatings from Norway.:)

Grandpa's "little ones" will bless him on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! We've got the 2 year old here tonight for a sleep-over while mama does last minute shopping! He's a mess and full of p&v!

Hope everyone has a great holiday and God Bless our troops both here and abroad for making it all possible!

Amen to the troops and visiting with the grandkids. I'm looking forward to a couple days off and a visit with my daughter's young family. Merry Christmas all and many blessings in the New Year.

    What I want next Christmas!

I'm always looking ahead! Next year, I want the aluminum Christmas tree that my folks bought in 1963, complete with the 4, yes 4 color light wheel! Mom still has it, she used it 2 years ago! Big sister and I haven't fought each other in 50 years, but I know this will be a monumental slug-fest. I guess I better get the first punch in!:D

    Same here!

I hope you all have (or are having) a wonderful holiday season!

Sadly, if I'm able to haul a tree in my truck, it won't be until next christmas at the earliest...
Oh well, what's another year, right? I mean, I *will* live forever... :(

    Ken ,
    I remember those trees!
I thought they were great until we put to HOT of a bulb
in the 4-color wheel and the motor stopped turning and
fried the color Red to clear:eek:
I think it came from Western Auto.
    ahhhh the memories.

    HaroldB,
thanx for the pic. I used it for my e-Christmas card this year.
couldn't find one till yours popped up.
    Merry Christmas!

Cone shaped X-mas trees in the Willamette Valley OR.

This looks specteculair to me when a guy is driving around with his X-mas tre on the roof of his car, kinda surprizing and eyecatching. I am shore the tv. team that see the person had a good laugh that early in the morning. I like the combination of the tre an the truck outlook very much.
Is there any spesific reasons why americans like the cone shaped X-mas trees as it gives a lot of work to prune them ? We just let them be in there natural form without pruning them !

    Martinius.:)

Martinius, I don't know why we go for the cone shaped trees.... I've never realized that fact. Merry Christmas to All the Members here. Hope you and your families all have a nice Holiday.
