I have a 1963 230 six banger bored 40 over. It has a Rochester Model B carb on it, the second in as many years. I would like to replace it with a Mono jet. Is it a straight forward swap ? And if so, where is the best place to get one. Thanks...ML

I was considering doing the same thing with my '64 230. I went so far as to order the part from the parts house I use here in Austin. The monojet is a direct bolt-up (there were several models I could order, so take yours in to compare.) When I say bolt up, I mean it fit, except it was 90 degrees out, so your linkage will have to be modified, or you'll have to get (make) an adapter plate. If you do it, let us know how it works, if I could find an adapter plate, I'd bolt one up today. The model b is about as efficient as a soup can with a hole in it.
