Its prolly me whom does`nt know how to use the program but maybe some of you guys can help me out here? Is it posseble to get all the lists up for the whole of the united states when looking fore a spesific item ? Or do you have to type for every state/region every time ?

    Thanks Martinius.

    Martinius,

I know there are third-party programs and websites that search all of craigslist. None are actually affiliated with craigslist, so their reliability is questionable at best. I've never had any luck with them myself. It's a pain, but I usually search from region to region to find what I'm looking for. I know that's not much help, but that's my experience.

    Warning !!

Craigslist can be cool but never , EVER trust -any- seller there until you see the itemin person ! .

DO NOT send anyone any money and expect to get anything in return ! .

    You have been warned .

That's good advice, Nate. I bought my first project truck from craigslist, but only after driving to see it in person, and then stewing about the decision for a few days. The guy I dealt with was great, but I know the other end of the spectrum exists, too.

    Scamland

Is what craigslist is ~ they even have a name for the multitude of scammers who reside there : " craigslist flakes " ~ they sell stolen cars & Motos , parts etc. , and will tell you whatever they need to in order to close the deal....

Recently after some guy was calling me back for days about an L6 250 manifold , I drove quite a ways to be handed a rusty old nasty condition GMC V6 intake manifold.... they guy had NO REMORSE about running me way the hell and gone for the wrong thing . then he blew smoke up my skirt and lied to me about other items....

    Caveat Emptor ! :)

This is not to say don't use craigslist , I get some killer deals there but I don't waste much time doing the daily search thing so many do .

Thanks for good advice and help.

I wanna thank you guys for the advices and help. I placed my question at the wanted for parts section here at the forum instead ! I have learned my lesson well, the last time i arranged buying parts in the US my money whas actually stolen on its way to the US ! The postal services never found out about it , but in this case i got a money return some weeks later as i have an insuirance that covered my lost.

    Martinius.

P.s. If anyone wanna sell a NOS or used but in good condition Saginaw 4 speed cluster gear with a tooth count 29.23,19,15,15 to sell give me pm. Picture is only for illustration.

    Thanks.
