Does anyone know the company who makes or used to make a bracket for adding a late model power steering gearbox in the 65 chevy? If I can recall they used to be in Montana?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON Mar-13-04 AT 06:54 PM (CST)]They are called REZ Engineering. Here is an article about the install. http://www.customclassictrucks.com/techarticles/84378/ I did this swap a few years ago with a quick ratio steering box. It's the only way to go. Mine was a bit different in that I installed a tilt steering column at the same time. I uses a Borgesen U-joint at the steering box, a length of DD steering shaft, and a Borgesen steering dampner on the end of the column to connect the DD shaft. The dampner allows you to get rid of the GM rag joint. A month ago I swapped the old tilt column for a Billet Specalties tilt. Everything went back together perfect. Dennis
