1955 Chevrolet Muncie 3 speed with electric Overdrive. Solve all those issues about Rear-end gear swaps and tranny swaps. Here is the original GM factory solution. This came off a professionally rebuilt engine in a professionally restored 1955 sedan. I used the engine and it is great. The solinoid and OD unit has new wiring around it. It is clean and painted. I have not used the tranny. Previous owner removed it and went with a 350 no problems reported. rare, simple bolt in, not cheap $600, also have a NOS stainless cable with Overdrive engraved in it. Long enough for a truck.
