    whats the diferance betwean 205/75/15 and 215/70 /15 on 1950 1/2 ton not halling weight.thanks

    I'm digging deep to remember here...

    If memory serves me correctly, the 215/70 /15 will be slightly wider with a lower profile. The middle number it the ratio of tread width vs sidewall height. The lower profile can cause the suspension to feel a little rougher as there is less sidewall absorbing the bumps.

    In theory the 215/70 /15 will slightly reduce top speed and mpg with drag from the larger contact patch and slightly smaller overall diameter.

    As far as if you would decide to carry weight, that difference would determined by the weight rating on the tires more than the size.

    Both are 26" tall, the difference is .2". The 215 has a wider tread.
