Been helpin' a customer of mine get his '52 one ton in shape for the Tucson Rodeo.

Dude is on the rodeo commission & handles all the livestock at the events ......He stopped by today to do some fine tuning on the truck.... & it turns out...
He had a pocket full of free tickets to the best seats of all "at the shoots" for this years event !

The annual rodeo is big deal around these parts & the schools even close down for it. :D

I am off to the worlds largest non -motorized parade bright & early tomorrow..... kid rodeo starts at 1:00

The Pasqua Yaqui / Papago / Tohono O'odham & Apache indian tribes of Tucson & southeast Arizona along with western New Mexico tribes are also cowboy "wranglers". & that symbol is used in their basket weaving & it is the tribe trademark......

Rodeo commission guy with the 1 ton truck is showing his respect & allegence to the native population with that decal.

The native Indians on the local reservations take that symbol & basket dancing pretty serious.....

    Thanx

Having traveled The South West extensively since the mid 1960's , I am aware how serious these things can be .

Rodeo work takes far more talent and ' stones ' than I ever had .
