steering wheel

    what should I use to fill the cracks on my stock steering wheel??
    also what type of paint can I use to.

    Steering Wheel Cracks

    There's quite a bit written on the proper repair , you have to use a tiny V file & file down into the bottom of the crack before filling it with the epoxy else it'll crack again .

    Also , there's a specific method to wash the wheel as there's quite a lot of sweat & grime absorbed into the bakelite .

    Look on the internet , I read up on it then had Koch do my '49 wheel , everyone says it's nice ~ I went with an off white so it doesn't absorb the sun's heat in the Desert.....

    Got the note pad out wrote the info down. that was a nice job the guy did on the wheel.
