what should I use to fill the cracks on my stock steering wheel?? also what type of paint can I use to. Thanks Robert
Steering Wheel Cracks There's quite a bit written on the proper repair , you have to use a tiny V file & file down into the bottom of the crack before filling it with the epoxy else it'll crack again . Also , there's a specific method to wash the wheel as there's quite a lot of sweat & grime absorbed into the bakelite . Look on the internet , I read up on it then had Koch do my '49 wheel , everyone says it's nice ~ I went with an off white so it doesn't absorb the sun's heat in the Desert.....
Info Thanks for the link Russ. Got the note pad out wrote the info down. that was a nice job the guy did on the wheel. Robert
