Plenty of them on eBay! Just pull out the credit card and you're golden!

I have one that I would consider selling. I think it is generic. It had no tags or decals on it when I bought it. It is shorter than most I've seen. It fits perfectly in the window of the '51. Since there were no markings on it, I repainted it hammered finish gray. It works, but not so well here in MO, where the summers are quite humid. I don't have any pics of it right now. I can get you some this weekend, if you are interested. I'd like $150 for it.

Oddly enough, I just found this on e-bay. This is identical to the one I have.

Tim (fab51), you bring up a very good point! Swamp coolers, or evaporative coolers, don't work well in places with high humidity!

Robslowchevy, you haven't said where you're from. In looking at your pictures, I noticed that you had Texas plates on your truck. Do you live in Texas? If you're in the East Texas piney woods or the Gulf Coast region or S. Texas, a swamp cooler will not be effective. If you're in W. Texas or the Panhandle, it would be ideal. If you're down here where the humidity exceeds the temp during the summer and you want to cool the cab, look into Vintage Air. You certainly have the muscle under the hood!
