Have seen the question as to an AD's cab weight asked before. Extra weight would be the chains and lift bar and missing is the seat bottom cushion, glove box door, instrument and speedometer cluster, and inside door handles. All else is there. The steering gear box has been cut off the bottom of the steering column. With a gross weight one should be able to weigh whatever is removed from a complete cab on a bathroom scale and subtract that from 650#'s.

Never, Ever, scrap one. This one donated it's frame to the 49 GMC which had a bent and rusty one and the rest went down to the storage yard to join the crowd. Added a Pacer IFS, a Jag inboard disc brake IRS and let it boogie down the road. The Pacer front also solves the Chevy/Jimmy front crossmember issue.

Do tell! It would be great to see pictures of said frame in its finished stage. And a 49 GMC, you say... :p
