fuel delivery problem

    help! rebuilt, .060 over 235 runs out of fuel after about 50mph on the road.1961 chevy 3/4 ton truck, remanufactured STOCK 1 bbl carb, Fenton headers and dual exhaust, new electric fuel pump and fuel lines.

    im wondering if this carb is too small, or is it possible to rejet? or reccommendation for replacement carb. thanks!

    check your fuel filter....

    thanks for your suggestion
    the problem turned out to be someone put fuelvent hose instead of fuel line and it kept gumming upthe needle and seat dont know how it got by fuel filter it was a cheap inline filter but still should of caught it replaced all lines and cleand needle and seat 4 times seems to be good now made it 180 miles sinc last cleaning

    Great, glad you got it fixed. Newer fuels with ethanol makes this problem even worse.
