    This , IMO ;

    Is the very worst possible location for the PCV Valve as it is directly in the oil mist and so will tend to suck out a fair bit of oil , always a bad thing .

    There's a reason the factory never did this simple thing .

    I pondered this set-up for a while. Besides the oil mist like Nate says, who has the tools around to drill a 1" hole in a 1-1/4" freeze plug? Not this guy...

    Sounds reasonable

    It sounds resonable what Nate says here! I`ll go for the valve cap /intake solution and combine it with the Apmco container wich also needs vacume.

    ?? Eh ?? What ?? .

    I know I'm tired but what did I miss here .

    Of course , now that I mailed your new cap off , Sunday I found one with the correct 6 cylinder PCV Valve still in it , I left it behind for the next needy old Trucker .

    Ampco lubricator

    The Ampco lubricator needs vacume and is to be connected to the intake manifold aswell as the hose from the PCV valve cap right ?
