I need some suggestions as to tire replacements for a 53 Chevy 3100 truck that I am "restoring" - not to pristine shape but to usable shape. Any suggestions are welcome for someone who is new to all of this.
    Thanks. Jim G:)

I'm running 215-85R16 and they are almost the same height and width as stock. They are spendy new but I got them free because they were takeoffs from my uncles 2007 1 ton silverado.

    Tires

That's : LT215/85R16 as this is a big , heavy old sumgun and even if you never plan to work it , safety is critical .

Passenger car tires are dangerous on trucks .
