    Went down to Keller's Drive In in Dallas last night which I guess has about as big a weekly cruise in as anywhere. There was a rat rod there with a 235, dual 1bbl carbs, headers, etc. I asked how it rode since the leaf front springs were fastened by eye bolts at both ends. He answered really rough so I told him that he needed to put shackles at one end or a flat plate with a roller for one end of the spring to slide on like some old dirt track cars had. He was appreciative but another spectator with a bellyfull of suds started in about if it drove from wherever it proved I was full of it and by the way where was my car? Just happened to be there a 51 five window on an S10 chassis and a high point factory stock 53 5W that we had done which I told him were examples of our work if he wasn't to blind drunk to see. Later decided to just look and not comment from now on.

    There's one in every crowd. If beer is available, more than one.

    When people get drunk, they show exactly who they really are, don't they? Don't give up on making comments, though. A lot of people enjoy hearing other's opinions, whether they use the advice or not.

    Good Advice

    As usual ;

    Evan is dead on .

    I wish I had folks like this to learn from....

    When I were a lad , most of the guys were so closed mouthed , it was hard to learn anything .
