I have a 66 and purchased a new interior rear view mirror, i.e. day/night, from our sponsor. I mounted the mirror into the mirror bracket, but after a few miles, the mirror has become sloppy and doesn't want to stay in place once you adjust it properly. I bought a new screw which holds the mirror to the bracket, but one again, I am experiencing the same problem. Does anyone know of any "tricks" which will hold the mirror in place? Is the bracket the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Thanks/Paul

Try a dab of red Locktite on the threads of the screw and really put the bicept to it..
