Its time to replace my old 235/75/15 tires, looking at 275/60/15 on steel 6 bolt 8" wide chevy rims (typical 73-87 4x4 rims).

I see a lot of guys using this size on the rear but only one or two guys using them on the front... which happened to be a 68-72 models.

Has anyone tried 275/60/15 tires on the front of a 60-66?? if so, were there any fit issues when lowered 3.5"?

    Thanks

HI I had some 60's on my 65 some years ago and had no problems with them, but they were 4x4 rims off of a 77 Blazer. why are you asking?

Many people use 255/60R15 on the front of lowered trucks with the 275's on the back. You may find some clearance issues on the fronts with 275's when turning the wheel to full lock.
