    Hello this is my first time here I heve read your fourm for a wile and I think one of you can healp me I hope. The trouble is I;m havein
    electrickel problums I got all new wiring harness from our houst chevyduty and now when I put on the head lights all the lights come on so I put on my left single light and both back single lights flash and the front single light stay on solid the same thing happens when I put on my right single light both back single lights flash and the right front single light stay solid. now I put the lights out and put on the right single light and the front single light flashs but the back single lights bouth flash the same thing happens when I put the left single light on. now I put my head lights on and the four way flasher on and they flash. by the way this is when the key is on ACC. :'(

    First off, I'd recommend calling our hosts at the 800 number listed under "Contact Us" above.

    Next, take a look at your steering column harness. It sounds like things are crossed up there. I'd advise having a wiring diagram close by to verify the connections.

    You didn't say what harness you replaced. I'll assume that it's the under dash "Main" harness that should have the fuse panel and the column harness. The connection at the column must match color for color on either side of the harness.

    The wiring diagram in the back of the Factory Service Manual is a must have when trying to trouble-shoot electrical problems.

    also make sure your lights are well grounded.they have to be grounded to work right.

    Hi it's me again I have changed every harness in the truck but the dome light harness and it was bad and I did not no this so when I plung it in it blue out the cerit braker in my head light switch. now when I turn on the single light on the left or right both back single lights flash you see befor I plung in the dome light the single lights worked fine coud I have blown somthing else. By the way belive it or not I have 1960 & 1961 factory service manual. And yes I changed the plung in at the bottom of the stering collom. Thanks for the help Dennis and the guys at ChevyDuty I just keep on diging.:-(
