Power Brakes !

    A busy Sunday for sure :) .

    I've been slowly collecting parts and pieces to convert my drum brake truck to power , Sunday was the day I waded in .

    I got the rebuilt cylinder and master from Rock Auto .com , a really good place for car / truck parts .

    A 1970 C/20 in Pick-A-Part provided the brackets and bell crank , brackets and misc. factory hardware , I had the original GM vacuum hose sitting as I knew sooner or later I'd need it .

    The bell crank has never been greased when new so it was all jammed up , I took it apart and wire brushed squeaky clean then greased it before re assembling and installing it , it now works ' As-New ' again just like Generous Motors ordained .

    All the spare hardware came in handy as a few of the fasteners are wrong or had mechanic's Marks , a thing I hate and try to avoid as best I can .
