Depending on your engine you should check with Jeg's.com. They have the whole system ready to install. You just have to do the welding and hanging.
They had a 3" Flowmaster setup for my 65" L/B with shorty headers that fit perfectly. Finding a place to get it up in the air for easier welding was my challenge.

    Good Luck,

    Rip

    HELLO,

AGREED, JEGS HAS WHAT YOU NEED. THEY ALSO CARRY THE UNIVERSAL DUAL EXHAUST KIT THAT I THINK EXITS IN FRONT OF THE REAR WHEELS. ALONG WITH HEADERS THIS SHOULD BE FAIRLY INEXPENSIVE, BUT THEN THERE'S FRIEGHT.

    HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT.

THANKS for the info on Jegs. I hadn't thought of them.

NAPA said they carry the muffler and tail paper, but not the header.

I crawled under the beast and for once, I am lucky. The header is good, but, the muffler and tailpipe are non-existent.

Lucky for me, I have a new neighbor, who has become my best friend...he's a toolmaker and one heck of a welder.

My truck has become a neighborhood project...even the mailman stopped the other day to crawl around in it.
