I'd like to keep my original tranny, a granny 4 speed, and would like to get rid of the stock Brake/Clutch Master and Clutch Slave setup in favor of a power brake, clutch master setup by MP Brakes. The question is, can I use the McLeod slip- or bolt-on hydraulic throw-out bearing on my tranny? I don't have anything apart, so I can't readily identify which of the T/O bearings would work with my application.

Here's a link for McLeod's way cool part:

One more thing, should I decide to switch to a 5 speed, any recommendations? I'm on a TIGHT budget, so tips on what to look for in a tranny (either from a car or truck) is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Oh, didn't mention that it's going in a 62 Chevy C10 with the original 283 and granny low 4 speed....
