When installing the clutch arm it seems I have the throw out bearing reversed on the transmission shaft. Is this correct?

Is that the pressure plate on the right?

No pressure plate is on the left, the trans is on the right in the picture.

The larger surface should face the pressure plate. The larger surface of the throughout bearing is on the right side in the photo you posted.

That makes sense. The reason I am asking is that the clutch arm when seated in its pivot is all the way back on the bell housing. Sounds like somehow the throwout bearing was reversed. Good thing its only the engine and trans on the frame right now.

    Thanks
