I was cleaning out the glovebox after my recent two day Desert Road Rally and found the gas tickets from last August when I initially bought this truck in Dallas TEXAS and drove it home to L.A. ~

I also had the stack of gas receipts from that Road Rally so I figured them all up .

    It has consistently achieved 14 ~ 16.7 MP's , a very few tanks have come in at 17. + MPG .

All in all I'm highly pleased .

    whats your rear end ratio?

my self and two friends have identical trucks except one is a 250 six, mine is a 307, and another friend has a 4bbl 350. we each have a 3;70 rear and 3 speeds on the column and get about 11-13 mpg

another friend as a 350 4bbl motor with an automativ but he has the 3;08 rear. he gets easily 16-19 mpg.

I dunno  (I couldn't find the embarrased face) .

    I just drive it on 15" LT radials with a 28" O.D. and I easily get 17 + MPG's on a worn out 250 W/ TH350 tranny as I keep it sharply tuned .
