Ran across this http://s433.beta.photobucket.com/user/gmg454/media/For%20Sale/1951%20GMC%20Truck%20yellow/DSCN1656.jpg.html?#/user/gmg454/media/For%20Sale/1951%20GMC%20Truck%20yellow/DSCN1656.jpg.html?&_suid=1353711882877016803528188306838 while looking for something else. I realise that the axle is an aftermarket dropped axle. I'm more interested in the front steer power rack & pinion and steering arms.
No limits http://www.customclassictrucks.com/techarticles/0602cct_rack_and_pinion_steering/photo_02.html or the gear style looks like CPP does a kit http://www.classictrucks.com/tech/0210ct_power_steering_solid_axle_chevy/viewall.html or Golden State Parts offers one too.
The first one in CCT magazine (No Limit Engineering) mounts to the back of the I beam front axle. The second one is the crappy, bumpsteering 800 series GM box conversion. The URL I pointed to is a forward steer R&P.
