Hi everyone, I'm new to this site as of today. I have purchased a 1965 Chevy C20 to restore. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas regarding converting the front drums to disc brakes. The magazines seem to show 6-lug conversions, no mention of 3/4 ton.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gte out your tape measure and go junk yarding, those parts pullers if not complete idiots have a world of knowledge as whats the same all you should be looking for is the spindle, tie rod ends, drag link, you may find that it all might be the same on the newer stuff, you will have to make the call on how many wheel studs you want before you start,I know i had around 200 dollars on a complete 5 lug disk change over using the three junk yard parts listed and then new calibers, rotors, pads, front hoses, and dont forget the adapter needed to hook the rubber lines to the hard lines.sorry for not noticing your question before now

you COULD convert to 5 or 6 lug by using a conversion spindle from early classic and changing the rearend.
