This is a very good question that DV answered. I just replaced my front parking light wires, light switch, and rear taillight wires. I was hoping that the front parking lights remained on with the head lights on. I'm glad you asked the question and DV answered it. I thought I did something wrong or needed to replace something else. THX, to you and DV.
My first truck was a '66, C-10 in '81 when I was 16. My neighbor had a '66 also and he showed me how to install a jumper wire at the headlight switch to turn on the park lamps when the head lights were turned on. We thought it was cool and unique to these trucks. I think it looks better also. LILRD66 BCKBLK
