Well the two holes your referring to are for fuel injection return lines. As for the sending unit it has a o-ring then the sender then the locking plate. Don't forget to solider a wire on the sending unit and run it over to the frame for a ground. The tank is that was in the truck originally was metal so it was its own ground

    Cody,
What blazer tank are you using? Do you have any pictures of the install?

Cody hasn't posted on here since 2001... this is a 12 year old thread.......

Here is another thread that shows a how to on a blazer tank installation: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=74876

and here is another thread showing installation of other tanks: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=453832

Be sure to study the finished installation photos. Some of these tanks, such as the Blazer - CPP - Camaro tanks, are visible hanging down under the truck. This is especially true if you will be running a rear roll pan and not a bumper. Some people don't like this look, some don't care.

Since my truck is lowered and I am running a roll pan I ended up using a early 50's Chevy passenger car tank. If yourinterested check out the link below in my signature line.

Hope this helps. Feel free to let me know if I can be of assistance.

    John
