So now I have purchased a new exhaust system -original style system and a muffler brkt that is suppose to attach to the frame somehow? does any one have a underside picture of there 3100 short bx system that I can see. All the books I have do not show a complete set-up. The brkt is a #3676257A from Chevs of the 40's. Thanks for any help.

Randy, here's a couple pages from the factory assembly manual that shows a typical exhaust system installation.

If this doesn't make things as clear as mud, I'll crawl under my truck and try to get you some pics.

Thanks Ken ,I have that book, but that muffler brkt is different and my muffler is towards the back of the truck just before the rear spring asm. If your trk is a short bx and original style exhaust I would much appreciate a picture of yours if you can get it. Thank you. Randy

Mine's just like yours, Ken. (It's a chevy chassis), but don't tell anyone.
