well the move to oregon went well had a trailor blow a tire on the way up and delayed up enough that we had to stop for a night now my chevy is parked at my uncles place untill i get my own place now im slowly pecking away at it i have swapped the coil and found that the condencer is toast busted out all my brake parts from our host and gonna start workin on that soon looks right at home if you ask me and the place im staying at here in oregon
Looks Nice ! It sort of reminds me of home long ago , if you replace that nice house with a 200 year old collapsing farmhouse and badly rusted out vehicles in the row.... I envy your living place .
well got some parts today and they cost me nothing out of pocket there alot nicer then the copped up ones that came with my truck

nope ive owned it since 06 and have yet to drive it now that im working again im trying to get it to where i am so i can work on it i have a new set of points and a condencer for it to just im never at the property that its on so i dont get to work on it much
well i pulled the radiator out of the truck to start fabbing in a radiator pulled the hoses to find this pulled thermostat housing to find this whats left of the thermostat concerned i pulled the water pump off to have this bleed out of it but after getting it off i found this so over all it looks like a good flush will be what this thing needs popped the valve cover off to find this over all it looks like the motor is gonna be very happy
Routine Service Look up my older posts on re - awakening dormant engines , follow all the steps , it'll be fine . Also look up my " Citric Acid Cooling Sytem Cleaning , it really works .
Tech Advice It's almost all in the '47 ~'54 Foums . I now have extremely limited Internet access so you'll have to hunt , I'm hoping the good folks here will help you out with links to useful articles . I like they way you highlited the " CHEVROLET " on the Rockbox , I want to do his but cannot seem to manage it to look nice when I do .

It runs ! That's great . I hope you put the cooling system back to - gether first as running it dry will kills the piston rings in very short order .
no cooling system the whole reason it was moved was so i can get it to the hose and blast the system out it litterally ran as long as the videos show and putting it back getting hosed out in between cooling system is next as i have a radiator for it and all the nasty crap is out of the system
