My radiator is leaking........curious if anybody has luck trying to repair these or if I should just replace it.

    Is there a cheap alternative.

Our host has them for around $350.

    repair or replace

might be worth checking with a rad shop and do a cost comparison since you have to take the old one out anyway. they can do some amazing stuff.

I often find that when they start leaking, they continue leaking. I had one that began impersonating a sprinkler.

I found those last night, but was not sure of the quality.

I will likely go that route.

The only reccommendation I have is that if you use an automatic trans., get brass adapters for the trans. cooler and thread them into the radiator. Leave these in and thread the lines in and out if you need to remove the rad. later. The aluminum threads are fragile and repeated installation and removal will strip them out.

i am going to be adding ac to my truck do you think this radiator is enough being that it is only a 2 row versus a 3 or 4 row. What is your take on this?

It is MORE than enough. You don't need more cores with aluminum.

I haved found that an aluminum radiator, Flowkooler water pump and a black magic fan will cool most any problem engine. We install this setup on most every build. I have it currently in the 77 F*rd I am restoring with a 460, it is going to Fla. (W/ A/C). I am going to do this on mine, as my block is .080 over and tends a little on the warm side.
