What is your best gueass on this problem. Runs starts easy runs well for a variable number of miles then starts to sputter no power nearly dies but will idle choking helps a little but not much then all of a sudden will take off and go great for a while. Carb kit put in, new fuel pump and added a fuel filter, which it never had originally. Does it sound like a fuel or electrical problem Any thoughts Thanks:'(
Could be ignition condensor going south. They start getting weird from heat when they are starting to fail. Might be time for points, condensor, cap & rotor.... It sounds like a choke deal but I've seen the same thing happen with a bad condensor. DV
