After long time i come back to my garage and restarted with my F*** project.
Mounted a power steering rack from a Chevy Chevette 1980 (rebuild an from www.carsteering.com ) on my Chevette Front end (connected on a F*** 1936). connect all hoses from the power pump, filled with fluid and bleeded.
    Now the wonder:
If i turn a little bit on my steering wheel the steering turns full left then full right then full left .... till the engine is off.
Have anyone an idea what's wrong with it??

It's connected to a F$%#! Other than that, I got nothing. If you live in a mountainous area, I could see where this might be good.
Now does this happen sitting still, or under power?

The hoses are on backward. Reverse the pressure hose and the return hose.

Back in the day , this meant the boob who'd just overhauled the steering box had put the Spool Valve in wrong .

I bet your Chevette steering rack doesn't even have one of those .

Anyone know if the ABS direct fit power steering kit (#577) mounts on the inside or the outside of the frame rail?
