This won't answer your question, just an opinion.

If you plan on converting to disk in the future, save your money.
A booster won't improve your braking, only assist your leg in stopping. Spend the money on a rebuild of the drum brakesnow instead of a booster that won't help a brake system in need of a rebuild anyway. If you have recently rebuilt the drum brakes, then save the money you were going to spend on a booster for a reputable disk brake conversion kit.
Add a booster during the disk brake conversion.

www.mpbrakes.com makes an expensive power brake booster/clutch system for your truck.

yes I know its an old post, but did any one come up with a solution ( other then MP) for replacing the clutch/brake master? This is the only thing holding me back from getting disc for my 60.

I hav'nt done anything yet, yes I am slow. The power booster clutch combo looks like a good choice, but its expensive. It would be worth the money to have power and disc brakes to stop these old trucks. CCP has one to, its around $459.00.
