    Hello,
the vacuum wiper motor doesn't work fine. If the wipers are off, the motor work good. Do I assemble the wipers the motor doesn't correct. The wipers start wiping, stop and wipe by stop and go.
    What could it be?
And how difficult will it be to change the vacuum motor to an electirc motor?
Where do I have to place the on/off switch?
    Ask
    Wolfgang

Are you trying to run the wipers on a dry windshield? Try spraying with water then try

    Electric..yes

The electric motors are fairly inexpensive and bolt right in where your vacuum motor was. All you need to work properly is a 12volt source. A big improvement and have at least two speeds.:D

And... ...you can modify the original knob to fit on the new motor, but only if you use the right swear words.

    Wokri,

i have done this to my truck right from the start, as my vacuum motor seemed to be not or slow working.

I bought it from our host and it really fits in its stock location very well.
I modified the stock switch also and you hardly see any difference;)
Very happy with the performance also.

@Flashlight, to keep this place kids friendly, i?d rather not help you on this:D

Verdammte Schei?e, drecks alter Plastikschei?dreck etc...

    Wolfgang ~

Back in the day , we used old VW Beetle wiper motors :D .

To use the vacuum system , you have to mail your old wiper motor to Ficken Wiper Service , he's in New York and does superb work .

Ficken is cheaper too but I bet you can find a good old '57 VW Kafir wiper motor (the 113 DeLuxe will be 12 volt) at a local Auto Jumble and make the original linkages work just fine .

    Thank you Nate,
I've bought me yesterday an electric motor by our hoster.
