I'm attempting to re-install the glove box door for my 66 but have mis-placed the hinge portion during restoration. The parts houses, LMC, Golden State, American Classics, do not sell this piece or at least I cannot find it. I need help identifying the hinge assembly, how it installs and where I can buy one.
Welcome to the form,I pretty sure that part would have to come from a salvage yard any truck from 1964 to 1966 will work.Installing that part shouldnt be that hard. good luck
Thanks for the info. I was thinking I would have to make a trip back to the junk yard unless any other forum members may have one to sell?
For anyone searching for glovebox parts, American Classic Truck Parts has the glovebox hinge, as well as, the striker, latch and rubber bumpers. LMC has the glvoebox parts minus the hinge. The hinge can be found in the used parts section, the others can be purchased new.
