I am converting my 292 6 to a blown 355 64 panel wagon as well as three on the tree to four on the floor. The bell housing will fit the V8 (I think), so the motor and bell housing will both be bolted to mounts. The only problem I have, is that the 3 speed is shorter than the muncie and the 3 speed didn't require a trans crossmember support like the muncie did. DO I HAVE TO HAVE A CROSSMEMBER FOR THE MUNCIE SINCE THE BELLHOUSING IS SUPPORTED BY MOUNTS? IF SO IS THERE SOMEPLACE I CAN GET ONE? Another question I have is: Will the double drivshaft setup hold up to 700 horse power? (with no slicks to grab)I do realize that I will have to shorten the front drive shaft!
