Park Brake Cables I'm amazed no one has responded . yes , this is very do - able , the '73 ~ '87 ' Square Bodies ' have very nice 1/4" round stock cable supports you can use so the long cables don't rub the chassis , tranny etc. and fray .
Park Brake Cables Sorry ; I sold my square body . actually I gave it away after dumping over $3,700 in parts plus mucho labor into it . There may be some under carriage pix in the '73 ~ '87 forum . Anyways , just go to any Show & Shine or junk yard & look underneath ~ these park brake cable guides are very simple and clever .

The second picture is my shorting the rod and connecting it to the cable, nee to replace the pin with a bolt, it works and I can still used my existing break handle.
Was out of town at RENO The break cable used is from a dodge 1998 pickup, I think most cables ends are the same it matched great. Pick to come
