>Here is another > >http://www.americanclassic.com/paint.htm This is strange, your site and my site info are not one and the same. I put my vin in on my site>>>said 350 with 2BBL carb put it in on your site L6 with 2BBL carb SEE what you find: CCV144F331002
" This is strange, your site and my site info are not one and the same. I put my vin in on my site>>>said 350 with 2BBL carb" I think there is a typo on that table of engine codes. Notice that Q appears in the 73-75 column as a 250 6 but for all other years D is used. In the 76 column Q is a 305 with a 2 barrel. If you use the American Classic Vin Decoder and enter Q in the engine code field, it comes back as a as a 305. If you enter G it also comes back as a 305. It looks like a typo in that very first entry.
Found some VIN info, tried to scan it in, but the quality sucked, and way past the upload limit for this forum... has it all broken out in a parts Catalog for Chevy/GMC Trucks 1/2 and 3/4 ton, '73-87. Mick '86 Silverado K10
