If the old bones

    and eyes will hold up for another project it may be interesting. Long time friend with a salvage yard wants to look into putting an Atlas LL8 (or Vortec 4200) into a 52 GMC. Would like carbs or stack injectors and a stand alone ignition. Either way, if it has a block, pistons, valves, and can crank out over 100#'s of compression we can do an induction and ignition system to make it run. Why do such fun projects come along after I'm only good for six hour days? Getting punished for my wasted youth I guess. Probably drive the REAL workers nuts leaning over shoulders with advice...advice...advice. Better also wander over to the HAMB or Inliners to check if there is any thoughts on this to go along with what you folks come up with.

    Evan: If you need a volunteer 52 GMC for this project, how about mine? :)

    Seriously, any turbo plans? Google Turbo Vortec 4200 for examples.
